This page says which data O!mag processes, why, and what you can ask for. It applies to the magazine at omag.odeal.ch.

Who processes your data

ODL Group Sàrl, c/o ExpertFid & Audit SA, avenue Viollier 13, 1260 Nyon, Switzerland, is the controller responsible for the processing.

When you read the magazine

You read O!mag without an account. The site shows no advertising, does not measure your browsing and sets no tracking cookies.

A few technical exchanges still take place, as on any site:

• The host. Our host receives your IP address, your browser type and the page requested, for as long as it takes to serve you the page and protect the site.
• The photos. Many are served directly by the site of the brand the article is about: your browser then contacts that site. We ask it not to say which page you came from.
• The videos. A video is only loaded if you press the play button. It comes from the brand’s site, from YouTube or from Vimeo, which then receive your IP address.
• Browsing comfort. Your browser remembers, for as long as the tab is open, the list you were looking at and your position on the page. None of this is sent to us, and everything is erased when you close the tab.

When you subscribe

To send you the publications you are interested in, we keep: your e-mail address, your language, your choices (sections and categories), the date of your consent and the page from which you subscribed.

• Nothing is active until you click the link received by e-mail. A request that is never confirmed is erased after seven days.
• Every e-mail carries an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing erases your address: we keep nothing.
• Your address is used for this only. It is not sold, rented or used for advertising.

When you write to us

The contact form sends us what you write in it: your name, your e-mail address, your message and, depending on your request, your organisation, the address of your site or account, the product or page concerned.

• Your request only reaches the team after you confirm it by e-mail.
• It is used to reply to you, and for nothing else.
• It is erased twelve months after it is closed.

Against bots

Both forms are protected by a service that checks that the request comes from a person. We also keep an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address, to spot bursts of requests. It cannot be used to recover the address.

With whom

• Subscriptions and contact requests are stored in Switzerland.
• Our technical providers receive the data their service needs: site hosting, sending e-mails, form protection. They are based in the United States. These transfers take place with the safeguards provided by law.
• Nobody else receives your data.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, their correction or their deletion, through the contact form. We reply within thirty days.
