Neakasa: the story behind the brand rethinking pet and home cleaning
From Neabot to Neakasa, the brand changed its name while keeping every warranty, and keeps growing a catalogue of litter boxes, groomers and home cleaning devices.

A name change is a small thing, unless it comes with a promise to keep every warranty intact. That is exactly what happened when Neabot became Neakasa: the brand kept its commitments to existing customers while stepping into a new identity. Founded in 2017 within the Genhigh Group, Neakasa set out to build smart cleaning technology for two very different audiences that, it turns out, have a lot in common — pet owners and people who simply want their home to run itself a little more.
Where it started
Neakasa’s story begins in 2017, when the company entered the smart cleaning technology space under the Genhigh Group. The brand later moved from its original name, Neabot, to Neakasa — a rebrand rather than a relaunch, since Neakasa has been explicit that warranty rights and after-sales service from the Neabot era continue to be honoured. That detail matters more than it might seem: it tells you the company built its new identity on top of its old obligations, not instead of them.
Two ranges, one idea
Neakasa organises its catalogue into two families. Pet Care covers automatic litter boxes and grooming kits, aimed at owners who want less scooping and less fur on the sofa. Home Care covers cleaning appliances for the house itself. Recent additions show how the brand keeps building around both sides of that split: an automatic wet food dispenser for cats, a litter box step designed to cut down on tracked odours, and even a car seat built specifically for dogs. Together, the range reads less like a single flagship product surrounded by accessories, and more like a household ecosystem — one gadget for the litter box, one for the car, one for feeding time.
What goes into the products
A few concrete choices stand out. The AirStep, a step designed to sit beside a litter box, relies on an activated charcoal filter to manage odour rather than masking it with fragrance. On the litter side, Neakasa has moved into plant-based material with a cassava and tofu blend, sold in smaller retail bags rather than bulk sacks — a sign the brand is thinking about how the product is actually stored and scooped in a normal home, not just how it performs in a lab. These choices show a brand paying attention to the material going into the box, not just the box itself.
What the brand stands for
Neakasa describes itself as a global leader in smart cleaning technology for homes and pets, a claim the brand makes about its own position. It also states that it has built a user base of more than one million people worldwide, and that it has collected more than fifteen thousand positive reviews. These are Neakasa’s own figures, offered as evidence of scale and satisfaction rather than as audited statistics.
Right now
Neakasa’s most recent moves suggest a brand that ships often rather than waiting for a single big launch. In November 2025, it introduced the Neakasa Dog Car Seat. The following month, the AirStep litter box step arrived, built around its activated charcoal filter. By June 2026, the brand had launched its cassava and tofu litter blend, and in August 2026 it added the Neakasa Riko, an automatic dispenser for wet cat food. The O!deal team met Neakasa at IFA Berlin 2026.
Why we like it
We like that Neakasa didn't stop at one clever product: it built two full ranges, Pet Care and Home Care, around the same idea of taking a tedious chore off your hands. The fact that warranty rights carried over cleanly when Neabot became Neakasa says something about how the brand treats the people who already trust it.
Exactly the kind of brand we’d love to come across on O!deal one day.
