Zendure: the plug-in pioneer trying to make home energy smart
Zendure builds solar batteries and a home energy system you plug in rather than wire in, tracked from a single app and open to Home Assistant.

Zendure calls itself the pioneer of plug-in home energy management systems, and in this line of work, plug-in means something specific: no rewiring, no house-wide installation, just a battery you connect to what you already have. The range runs from the SolarFlow solar battery to the Hyper 2000 and the PowerHub, all reporting back through the Zendure App. Home Assistant integration means those numbers do not have to stay locked inside that one app. It reads like a foothold strategy: install one unit, watch what it does, add to it later.
The range
Zendure’s catalogue centres on three names: SolarFlow, Hyper 2000 and PowerHub. SolarFlow is the brand’s solar battery line, built to capture power drawn from solar panels and hold it for later use in the home. The Hyper 2000 and PowerHub sit alongside it as further storage and power units, each designed to slot into the same plug-in logic rather than demand a separate installation for every device. Around these three sit connected accessories, all meant to work together rather than as standalone gadgets. The audience this is built for is the household that wants to store and manage its own energy without bringing in an electrician for a full rewiring job.
How the system runs
At the centre of the offer sits what Zendure calls its HEMS, an all-in-one home energy management system. Rather than treating the battery, the app and the smart meter as separate products, Zendure builds them to report into one place. The Zendure App is the front door to that system, the interface a household actually looks at to see what is stored, what is being used, and what is coming in. Behind it, the brand opens the door to Home Assistant and to GitHub, letting the data and the controls travel beyond the Zendure App itself. For a household already running its own smart home setup, that is the detail that matters: the energy numbers do not have to live in a silo separate from everything else that runs the home.
What the brand stands for
Zendure describes itself as the pioneer of plug-in home energy management, a claim it makes about its own place in this field. The brand also says its aim is to make green energy accessible to everyone, framing the plug-in approach as a way to lower the barrier to storing and using solar power at home. Looking ahead, Zendure says it plans to bring smart, coordinated control over electric vehicle charging and heat pumps into the same system, extending the HEMS beyond the battery and the solar panel into other parts of a household’s energy use.
Right now
The pace of updates has been steady. In late April 2026, Zendure put its SolarFlow Mix Series online. In June 2026, it launched the Smart Meter 1CT-S, built to integrate into its Zen+ OS and into the wider HEMS, giving the system a direct read on a household’s actual meter data rather than an estimate. In July 2026, the SolarFlow 800 Plus went live. The O!deal team met Zendure at IFA Berlin 2026.
Why we like it
We like that the whole system is meant to be added to a home rather than rebuilt into one, with the numbers surfacing in a single app instead of staying locked away. The openness to Home Assistant is the detail that stands out most, since it lets the data leave the brand's own walled garden.
Exactly the kind of brand we’d love to come across on O!deal one day.
